Abstract

The purpose of the research: to determine the most significant factors of the action of the metaverse as a synthetic environment of human life and activity that affect education. The main factors of the metaverse and related immersive technologies are highlighted. It is emphasized that the wide implementation of virtual and augmented reality tools in the digital educational environment may be accompanied by their possible negative impact on the health and functional capabilities of the user.
