Abstract

The article defines the content dominants and research trends of digital competence. It has been established that with the increase in the pace of development of digital technologies, the introduction of innovative solutions in all spheres of social life, there is a need for the formation of digital competence, the development of digital skills of the population in accordance with modern requirements, processes of global digitalization of the economy, spheres of life of society, which are taking place in most countries of the world. The study of digital competence shows that the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (2021) was published as a tool created to improve the level of digital competences of Ukrainians, help in the creation of public policy and planning of educational initiatives aimed at increasing the level of digital literacy and practical use of tools and services of IT technologies. The Concept of the development of digital competences has been approved, which will increase competitiveness in the labor market, provide opportunities for continuous learning, provide the comfort of living in a digital country, increase the level of accessibility to public services, and reduce the risks of dangers when using the Internet. Digital competence is a dynamic combination of knowledge, abilities, skills, ways of thinking, attitudes, and other personal qualities in the field of information, communication and digital technologies, which determines a person's ability to successfully socialize, conduct professional and/or further educational activities using such technologies. The key components of digital competence are: value-motivational component; cognitive-activity component; information and communication component. The trends in the development of digital competence, which are determined by the need to acquire digital education using information resources, new educational technologies and digital educational resources aimed at increasing the level of digital skills, are specified, improvement of professional standards taking into account the approved framework of professional digital competences.
