Abstract

The article considers the importance of developing small business skills among students of vocational education institutions. Focusing on vocational education and training (VET), the advantages of teaching students entrepreneurial skills that prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the business world are emphasized. The current state of entrepreneurship education in vocational education and training institutions is highlighted, and effective strategies and approaches to the development of small business skills are explored. The importance of practical experience, mentoring and networking opportunities for the development of students' entrepreneurial skills is determined. The potential long-term economic and social impact of developing students' small business skills, promoting innovation and economic growth in local communities is emphasized.
