Abstract

The theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical research on the problem of personality, its development and self-improvement made it possible to define the self-development of the personality as a purposeful, systematic, highly organized and creative activity, a process of purposeful creative change by the individual of his own spiritual-value, moral-ethical, activity-practical, sensual, intellectual , characterological features for the most successful achievement of one's life goals and more effective fulfillment of one's human, social purpose. The article considers the conditions for a student to achieve self-realization. It is noted that the presence of high spiritual, moral and personal potentials is necessary. Qualities that block self-realization are singled out: motivation to avoid failure, certain neurotic deviations. namely: sensitivity to threats to the self, formation of self-doubt.
