Abstract

The information society is a global society in which the exchange of information has no temporal, spatial, or political boundaries, where cultures interpenetrate, where every community is given new opportunities for self-identification and the development of its own unique culture, and every person is created favorable conditions for comprehensive development. It foresees, on the one hand, a sharp increase in the role of knowledge and information, which become an important strategic resource of society, ensure the development of an individual and specialist adequate to today, the accelerated development of high-tech sectors of the economy, the development of our life, work and leisure, the possibility of organizing all types of education, in including professional and technical, and on the other hand - wide access of citizens to information, education, cultural heritage, favorable conditions for the creation of information and knowledge for everyone, access to them, use and exchange of them, creation of new opportunities for work and communication thanks to the rapid development and large-scale implementation of information and communication technologies in all areas of a person's life.
