Abstract

The article substantiates the need for online assessment of general secondary education learners and considers new strategies for its organization and management. The study used the methods of researching scientific sources and legislative documents, as well as theoretical analysis and synthesis. The results showed that the following assessment principles are effective: learner-centered and self-reflective, participatory assessment, and the use of assessment methods appropriate to the learning context. The conclusions recommend providing learner-centered assessment, encouraging learner input, and using a variety of learning activities and assessments.
