Abstract

The training of Orthodox prison chaplains is carried out at the Belotserkivskyi Center for the Advancement of Qualifications of the Staff of the DKVS of Ukraine in accordance with the training program approved by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, designed for 32 training hours. Training was carried out in three educational modules: legal competence module (10 hours), special competence module (6 hours), psychological-pedagogical competence module (6 hours), professional competence module (8 hours). Due to the fact that the school cooperates with the German Association of People's Universities DVV International, the training of chaplains can be significantly improved based on the experience gained.
