Abstract

Connectivity to the electronic information network has become an integral part of our daily lives. All organizations, institutions, including educational ones, use this network for effective functioning. Digital security of the educational space plays an important role in ensuring the safety and privacy of participants in the educational process. Educators should have knowledge of the risks associated with the use of digital technologies and be able to apply cybersecurity measures to protect themselves and their students from viruses, malware, phishing and other types of cybercrime. In addition, educators should pay attention to data privacy and take appropriate measures to protect personal information. It is also the role of the educator to teach students about online ethics, including rules of conduct in the digital environment and respect for other users. Educators should address social safety issues, teach students safe ways to interact online and avoid negative phenomena such as cyberbullying. Finally, filtering and censoring content is another aspect of digital safety. Educators should be able to control access to content to ensure safe and appropriate learning.
