Abstract

When studying mental health problems and their prevention, it is of particular importance to study the adaptive potential of the individual, taking into account the peculiarities of his or her regulatory activity, his or her adaptive resources and the specifics of the living conditions in which the individual is, that is, everything that characterizes his or her ability to form, correct and transform life experience, which determines the experience and behavior of a person in a particular situation. Today, the problem of preserving the psychological health of our citizens, especially those who are directly involved in traumatic situations and situations of chronic stress, is one of the most pressing. That is why specialists in the field of psychological, pedagogical, medical and social sciences are facing the need for a deep, targeted study of the conditions for maintaining psychological stability and activating human adaptive resources and capabilities.
