Abstract

It was found that the image of the future of youth contains affective, cognitive and behavioral components. Social ideas about the future have a number of important social functions. The identification function is manifested in the fact that they become the basis of social categorization and comparison. Performing a consolidating function, social ideas about the future increase the cohesion of the group, provide its members with an awareness of interdependence in achieving common goals and a sense of common destiny. The projective technique "Geography of visual images" (collage) is an effective diagnostic tool for identifying psychosemantic features of projecting the future.
