Abstract

The publication analyzes the presentation of innovative activity of Ukraine in the Global Innovation Index GII 2022. On September 29, 2022, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) published the annual report of the Global Innovation Index 2022 (Global Innovation Index 2022, GII 2022), which compares innovative activity 132 countries and economies of the world. Consisting of approximately 80 indicators grouped into innovation inputs and outputs, and aimed at capturing the multidimensional aspects of innovation, the GII ranks global economies according to their innovation potential. The achievements of regional innovation leaders are a clear example for other countries. Over the past decade, the GII has established itself as a leading innovation guide and "tool for action" for economies that incorporate the GII into their innovation agendas.
