Abstract

The study noted the modern understanding of the terms "gender" and "gender equality". The author clarified the concept of "gender education", defined its purpose and substantiated its significance in high school age, in particular, for the formation of a socially successful personality. The significant resource potential of non-governmental organizations and their practical experience for the implementation of gender education tasks in the process of forming a socially successful personality of a senior pupil is indicated.
