Abstract

The theses prove that the education system of Ukraine today needs teachers who are able not only to quickly master modern methods of teaching and educating students, but also to adapt them to the needs of the educational environment, to create and implement their own developments, to organize the learning process on the basis of a person-oriented, competence-based and activity approaches. A teacher of a modern educational institution must possess a certain complex of "hard skills" and "soft skills" necessary for effective professional activity.
