Abstract

Determining the levels of students' competence formation requires a complex monitoring and evaluation activity, in the process of which different types of evaluation of educational results are used. The key to the competence approach is the disclosure of the essence of subject content at the level of the ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills, experience of cognitive activity, and acquired values in solving vital practical tasks. The implementation of most of the control functions is facilitated by the use of pedagogical tests - a tool of the teacher's control and assessment activities, with the help of which a certain personality trait is investigated. The educational results obtained in the learning process are characterized by such qualitative indicators as the level, depth and strength of learning the learning material, the degree of mastery of the subject field, awareness of worldview beliefs and value orientations, etc.
