Abstract

The article considers preventive measures to prevent the emergence of adolescent addiction on the virtual environment. The data of world researches on this topic are given. The factors of occurrence of addiction on the virtual environment are considered. It has been established that the excessive use of Internet resources has a destructive effect on the state of mental and physical health of adolescents. Examples of preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of addiction on the virtual environment are described. Parts of the addiction prevention and correction program are briefly reviewed. Within the framework of the program, recommendations were given to parents for the primary prevention and correction of adolescents' addiction on a virtual environment for use at home. It was revealed that addiction on the virtual environment, which a teenager enters with the help of various gadgets, can manifest itself in various forms, such as lack of control over the time spent on the Internet, isolation, mood changes, conflicts, lies, excessive use and loss of interest in real life. It is described as an excessive flow of new information, the use of digital technologies, as well as the spread of networked computer games has a significant impact on the education of modern teenagers. It is shown how the structure of teenagers' leisure has changed, because modern gadgets, such as smartphones, tablets and laptops, combine the capabilities of a music center, video player, game console, books. It is described that every day there is an increase in the number of Internet users of adolescence who prefer passive pastime through watching streaming videos on YouTube or excessively addicted to network games on the Internet. At the same time, along with the indisputable positive aspect of global digitalization, one should remember the dangerous negative consequences of this process that affect the socio-psychological health of adolescents. Such a possible negative consequence, with excessive use of the resources of the worldwide network, may be the emergence and formation of addiction on the virtual environment.
