Abstract

The materials of the Council of Europe and other organizations regarding the guidelines for teachers on teaching students the ability to distinguish between fake news and manipulation in the mass media have been submitted. The main signs of manipulation in the online environment are considered and the skills necessary to recognize such information are highlighted.
