Abstract

Relevance: innovative processes that play an important role in the context of Ukraine's economy, necessitate the introduction of modern forms, methods and technologies, scientific and technological progress in the social, economic and educational space, legislative strengthening of economic and educational interests of Ukraine in public-private partnership. In Ukraine, partnership development of the state, business and education is at an early stage, so there is an urgent need for their research, in particular, it is necessary to analyze the state of development of such relations in the field of professional (vocational) education (hereinafter: P(V)E). Purpose: to determine the essence of the concept of "public-private partnership in the field of professional (vocational) education", to identify promising directions of its development in Ukraine, to single out and characterize the main stages of the creation and operation of public-private partnership projects in the field of education. Methods: theoretical (synthesis, induction, generalization); empirical (study of literary sources, scientific works, legal documents and analysis of concept content of «public-private partnership» in P(V)E). Results: the analysis of foreign and domestic scientific sources on the problems of public-private partnership in education was carried out, the prospective directions of its development in the education system of Ukraine were outlined, the peculiarities of the creation and functioning of public-private partnership projects in the educational sector were investigated. Conclusions: the concept content of «public-private partnership in professional (vocational) education» is defined (interaction of P(V)E institutions and business structures based on mutual interests to achieve common goals; cooperation between the state and business for the purpose of implementing educational projects based on legislative acts and special agreements); the prospects for the development of the studied phenomenon are clarified (study of the European experience in the development of public-private partnerships; introduction of new projects aimed at investing in the innovative development of P(V)E in accordance with regional priorities; expansion of opportunities for interaction of P(V)E institutions with state and private partners for the organization of dual education and improvement of the quality of practical training of education seekers); the main stages of the creation and functioning of public-private partnership projects in the educational field are characterized (preparatory, organizational, functional, diagnostic and corrective).
