Abstract

The manual is devoted to the applied aspect of raising children and youth in the digital space. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the concepts of "digital competence", "digital hygiene", "cyberbullying" are defined, and the age-specific features of raising children in the digital space are revealed. The conceptual principles of raising children and youth in the digital space have been determined. The criteria and indicators of education of children and youth in the digital space are characterized. The pedagogical conditions for raising children and youth in the digital space are substantiated (counseling in educational institutions, interaction between teachers and parents in the process of raising children in the digital space, parental control, the formation of information hygiene in pupils, the appropriate use of digital resources and tools in the educational process, countering cyberbullying and cyber fraud). For scientists, teachers, students of institutions of higher pedagogical education, pedagogical workers of institutions of general secondary education.
