Abstract

The textbook contains a systematic presentation of the main sections of differential psychology, presented from the point of view of a complete and unique personality. Genetic initial units of certain abilities and "needs" as a source and motivational activity of an individual (lat. Vis vitalis - vital energy) and its depth and initial unity (synthetic) (lat. Vis vitae - vital force), which constitutes a personality, are presented. The ontogenesis of the psyche is considered through the integrity and uniqueness of a person's life path. Individual (individual-typological), typological and group differences between people are considered, as well as the nature, sources and consequences of these differences and patterns of their mental variation. The textbook is intended for students of higher education institutions, graduate students and teachers of psychology. It can be useful for the training of humanitarian specialists. specialists in the field of psychodiagnostics, practical psychologists, etc.
