Abstract

The article highlights the research results of studying the relationship between the personality traits of an individual and the level of hardiness development. The concept of the individual hardiness is considered and the components of this phenomenon are revealed. It was established that the average level of hardiness prevails among the respondents. It was determined that all values are within the normative parameters comparing the average values of respondents with different levels of hardiness. It was found that the component of involvement prevails in the group of respondents with low and medium levels of hardiness, and in the group with a high level of hardiness control. With the help of correlation analysis, it was established that high indicators of hardiness are due to connections with autonomy, low ones with self-confidence and self-acceptance, which is evidence of personal stability, self-determination and meaningfulness of life.
