Abstract
A child's sensory development or the development of observation skills is the development of his sensations and perception, the formation of ideas about the properties of objects (shape, color, size, position in space, etc.). Sensory development is necessary for a person to master any practical activity. It plays an important role in the life of an adult, it takes place on the basis of the functioning of the system of analyzers, which provides a multidimensional connection with the world, contributes to the vital activity of a person. From sensory development, logical cognition is formed, which accelerates the accumulation of new sensory data, contributes to their inclusion in the previously created system of knowledge and experience. The higher the child's sensory development, the more facts and phenomena fall into the sphere of his perception. Two-thirds of a child's mental development is laid precisely through the activity of the senses in preschool age. Therefore, the role of sensory education in the development of preschool children is indisputable and very important.
