Abstract

The article asserts the need to implement the principles of partnership pedagogy in the development of textbooks for the new Ukrainian school. The textbook is considered as a complex system of textual and non-textual elements, which should be designed taking into account the mentioned principles. In particular, the requirements for various types of texts, illustrations and textbook tasks are proposed.
