Abstract

In the paragraph of the section on psychological support of educational process participants, the recommendations of the Psychological Service of the Out-of-school educational institution "Children’s Creativity House" of the Podilsky district of Kyiv are described, based on work experience during the first five months after February 24, 2022, when the full-scale military invasion of the russian federation into Ukraine took place. It is shown that the negative psychological consequences of military actions, such as: grief from losses, fear of death and injury, a background feeling of anxiety, maladaptation in forced evacuation, destruction of the usual lifestyle, etc., should also be considered as a loss, a violation of the integrity of personality and human’s mental health. Based on the transformations of children’s psyche and the educational-educative process as a whole, methodological recommendations for practical psychologists of educational institutions regarding the general directions of work and nuances of psychological support of teachers, students (pupils) and parents in the conditions of martial law are substantiated. Basic psychological recommendations and separate advice to adults on supportive interaction with children are provided, explaining their specific needs and difficulties, challenges in communication during the war.
