Abstract

The article is devoted to the presentation of the developed technologies for the use of the Google Analytics system for monitoring, evaluating, and increasing the effectiveness of the use of educational web resources. The problem of obtaining statistical data regarding the evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of certain web resources of scientific and pedagogical organizations is relevant. The purpose of the research is: to develop technologies for the use of the Google Analytics system for monitoring, evaluating, and increasing the effectiveness of the use of educational web resources and the development of digital competence of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers. The following research methods were used in this study: analysis, generalization, and systematization. These methods are used to analyze and generalize the existing experience on the specified problem. The concept and purpose of technology and web analytics are defined, and the capabilities and main indicators of the Google Analytics service are highlighted. The article describes the technology of using the Google Analytics system, which is based on the topic of the modules "Web Analytics. Stages of development and capabilities of the Google Analytics service for the analysis of web resources" and "Application of the Universal Analytics counter for monitoring, evaluating and increasing the efficiency of the use of educational web resources", which contains the training program "Using the services of the Google Analytics system in the field of pedagogical sciences". The technology of using the Google Analytics system for monitoring, evaluating, and increasing the effectiveness of the use of educational web resources includes the goal and task of training students, educational and methodological support, forms and methods of training, etc. The calendar and thematic planning table and the content of the two modules are presented. The technology has a practical orientation and is addressed to scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers in the field of education and science. It can be used in the system of postgraduate pedagogical and higher education.
