Abstract

In the article was analyzed the results of a survey by questionnaire of scientific-pedagogical employees of universities in Ukraine regarding the practice and prospects for their professional development. The forms and kinds of professional development that are most appropriate for scientific-pedagogical employees have been clarified. Ascertained the prevailing sources of financing the professional development of scientific-pedagogical employees. The discrepancy between the results of professional development of scientific-pedagogical employees with their expectations was revealed. The directions for improving the professional development of university scientific-pedagogical employees are proposed. Prospects for further scientific research in this direction have been determined.
