Abstract
The publication contains materials of the training course "State and trends of school education in the EU, USA and China" for use in the educational process of training candidates for the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy" in 011 "Educational, Pedagogical Sciences", 013 "Primary Education" , 014 "Secondary education" (by subject specializations). Mastering the course involves the formation of a holistic comparative and pedagogical competence of the researcher - a qualified specialist who has a high level of readiness for professional activity in the field of comparative studies in education and science. The manual reveals the purpose and objectives of the course, contains a description of the discipline (Appendix A), thematic information, and a dictionary of foreign terms and concepts (Appendix B). For students, graduate students and teachers of higher education, the wider scientific community.
