Abstract

The article highlights the results of historical and cultural analysis of facts and phenomena of foreign Ukrainian museums. It is argued that the evolution of museums is now an effective way to find new cultural paradigms. At the same time, museums are positioned as socio-cultural institutions that function to create a new reality, rather than ordinary institutions that preserve tangible cultural heritage. De-scribing the cultural, artistic and ideological values of foreign Ukrainian museums, concretized by exhibits on the life and work of famous Ukrainian artists J. Gnizdovsky and V. Krychevsky, the authors empha-size the priority of their functions for preservation, museification and translation of cultural values and objects. formation of the creative personality of the applicant of art education. The authors emphasize that this intellectual, spiritual creative work will significantly enrich the educational process, strengthen the educational national-patriotic, humanistic, aesthetic orientation of the interaction of "school" and museum institutions. Researchers analyze the historical and political conditions when thousands of the best Ukrainian talents, due to various circumstances, left their native land and continued to create unique artistic and scientific masterpieces without severing ties with Ukraine. The article proves that their cultural work remains the property and pride of many nations and states in the fields of music, architecture, sculpture, painting, science, literature, education, art, being presented in Ukrainian and many museums and libraries around the world. Therefore, national education can become much more meaningful and moral if the spiritual and material culture of Ukrainians abroad be-comes the subject of study, attention and respect from the state and society.
