Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of maintaining mental health in students, emphasizes the acute relevance and importance of its research for both theory and practice. A theoretical overview of some modern concepts that regulate mental health activities in Ukraine is presented. Emphasis is placed on the role of specialists in the psychological service of the education system, who organize activities to ensure psychological security, provide psychological and socio-pedagogical assistance to all participants in the educational process to maintain and strengthen mental and physical health in educational institutions. The specifics of psychological resources as operationally effective mechanisms and opportunities for productive professional realization are revealed. An attempt is being made to identify technologies and techniques, outline measures for the prevention and early detection of mental illness and behavioral disorders in students. Emphasis is placed on the main areas of professional activity of psychologists and teachers in the context implementation of state policy on mental health support for students in a pandemic.
