Abstract

The manual will help the teacher of the subject "Civic Education" to effectively teach students of the Lyceum of Citizenship, master the methods of teaching and improve their professional level. The manual presents information of a theoretical nature and practical direction on the peculiarities of the content and organization of citizenship education of students, the introduction of civic education on an interdisciplinary basis. Particular attention is paid to the methodology of civic education - the conditions of its effective teaching, the structure of the lesson and practical classes, the specifics of assessment of students in civic education and more. The manual contains calendar-thematic planning, basic models of lessons and practical classes in civic education, methods and forms of assessing student learning outcomes. Descriptions of examples of lessons, practical classes with interactive exercises are given. The manual will be useful for teachers of civic education, teachers who organize and conduct extracurricular activities in the field of civics, methodologists of historical and civic education, students - future teachers, subjects of professional development of teachers.
