Abstract

The authors focus on the rich pedagogical heritage of S.Kh. Chavdarov, in particular on the basis of the analysis of scientific sources: the periods and directions of scientific-pedagogical and research activity of S.Kh. Chavdarov; identified his personal contribution to the creation of the Soviet education system in the USSR (emphasis on the reform of Soviet education in the difficult conditions of 32-34 years of the twentieth century; revealed the content of scientific and pedagogical heritage S.Kh. Chavdarov (in particular, on the development of the Ukrainian language and development methodological support for teaching the Ukrainian language, training of Ukrainian language teachers, research of pedagogical heritage of outstanding teachers), developed methodological recommendations for the use of scientific and pedagogical heritage of SH Chavdarov in the modern reform of Ukrainian education.
