Abstract

The article provides a view of a group katathym imaginative psychotherapy (GKIP) (Group Guided Affective Imagery (GGAI)) as a method in the context of psychodynamic approaches to working with groups. Theoretical prerequisites important for und erstanding and conducting a group KIP are identified and described. Multidimensional theoretical concepts and models that are promising for use in GKIP are presented.
