Abstract

The purpose of the study is to elucidate the trends in the organization of the educational process in Ukraine and the EU due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is concluded that distance education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transformation of education into digital learning, the key factors of which are the availability of appropriate technologies, the ability to use them, the availability of digital devices and online learning materials, the level of Internet connection. Moreover, there is a tendency to introduce blended learning, which provides equal access to education for those students who do not have the opportunity to receive it online.
