Abstract

The workshop is designed for people who provide certain professional services to the elderly. These can be social workers and workers, rehabilitation specialists, trade and medical workers, drivers and conductors of public transport, other service workers. When meeting elderly people, they do not always understand what is happening to them, do not take into account in their activities their age and individual characteristics. Therefore, the purpose of the workshop is to form in those who provide certain professional services to the elderly psychological literacy, ie, knowledge and ideas about the psychological characteristics of people who are in late adulthood, training them to communicate effectively with the elderly and maintaining their own psychological health. under stressful conditions (pandemic COVID-19).
