Abstract

The article presents the results of diagnostics of the level of interest in the profession of aviation workers of lyceum students. The analysis of the concept of diagnostics is carried out. The criterion for allocating the levels of interest in the profession of aviation industry is based on the degree of its main components (emotional, intellectual, cognitive, volitional). Two groups of motives are characterized: general motives for entering a university; motivation and attraction to the profession. The results of the school test of mental development, which consists of six subtests, are presented. The motivational sphere of lyceum students has been studied. Characteristics of education levels (relatively full, fragmentary, low) are considered.
