Abstract
The content raises topical issues regarding the professional training of modern teachers of natural sciences and the formation of his skills to work in new realities, where hours are reduced for subjects, where students are motivated, reforms last a long time. Given the new approaches to the role of the modern teacher of natural sciences, the author is convinced that the planned system of measures for the development of methodological competence of teachers in the modernization of education requires significant innovations in pedagogical theory and practice.
