Abstract

The article considers the concept of adaptive intelligence and ways of its development for children of the technogenic world. The author proposes various strategies for its training, which in the future can help children reduce the intensity of negative stress response, because: 1) the brain will quickly produce solutions of any, even non-standard problems; 2) an installation will be formed that "there is no problem that has no solution" and "every problem has several solutions. But you must not only come up with them, but also calculate the risks and benefits of each of the options"; 3) skill training enables a person to have several working patterns that can be used in similar situations. In order to develop the adaptive intelligence of student youth, the author cites five diverse cases with problematic situations, from simple to complex (with moral and ethical dilemmas). They can be used by teachers, psychologists, social educators.
