Abstract
In the article the author emphasizes that teenagers should first of all actualize the values promoting self-improvement and development of creative potential. This creates the preconditions for socio-cultural growth of young people, the definition of personal values, team values and systematization of their own set of personal values and prepares the groundwork in the self-consciousness of the adolescent for the formation of professional values.
