Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the effectiveness of social and psychological technology to support the reform of secondary education in the form of a competition-quest «Reform as the path to the school of my dream». The purpose, main tasks, content and organization of the All-Ukrainian Competition-Quest are presented. The main effects of the application of the proposed socio-psychological technology, which can be extrapolated to solve a wide range of problems related to the adoption of change through the establishment of constructive interaction of the subjects of the educational process. Based on the activities and reports of the teams participating in the quest, their views on various aspects of the New Ukrainian School concept are presented, including reforming the general secondary education and 12-year education, a profile high school, a motivated teacher and pedagogy of the partnership. Examples of reflection of the participation of team members in the quest competition and evaluation of its effectiveness are given. The results of the study of the impact of the developed social and psychological technology competition-quest «Reform as the path to the school of my dream» on the attitude of the subjects of the educational process (teachers, students and their parents) to educational innovations, the formation of positive public opinion on the reform of secondary education are presented. A significant increase in the number of respondents with a «positive-active» and a decrease in the number of people with a «negative-passive» and «neutral» attitude to the New Ukrainian School reform were found. Positive dynamics are observed among the respondents - participants of the competition-quest.
