Abstract

The theses emphasize that the development and application of tests to assess the quality of training in institutions of professional higher education is a necessary condition, but far from sufficient. At different stages of assessing students 'competencies, different types of relevant tools (tests, debates, abstracts, essays, portfolios, projects, presentations, etc.) should be used to most fully and objectively assess students' achievement of educational goals.
