Abstract
Modernization of vocational (vocational) education, which "will contribute to the training of highly competitive workers who are able to meet the requirements of the modern labor market" [1], is one of the key tasks of the Government in the field of education in the medium term until 2020. Among the priority actions identified in this document, aimed at addressing issues related to the deterioration of education, the use of outdated teaching methods, dissatisfaction of employers with the quality of education and the transformation of educational content based on a competency approach, the development of "creative and proactive personality , which is capable of effective activity in society and due to the ability to think critically, acquired competencies, formed beliefs and values, is able to make adequate decisions for the benefit of the Ukrainian people, socio-economic development of mankind".
