Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of modern theoretical approaches to the definition of the essence of the concept, properties, criteria and basic components of structural features of the professional viability of managers of commercial organizations. The factors that contribute to the formation of personality sustainability and increase the professional viability of managers that have a positive impact on managerial activity are considered. It is noted that the study of the professional viability of managers of commercial organizations is an important area of psychological and psychophysiological research, since the issue of quality of life, psychological health, satisfaction with their professional activity and satisfaction with themselves. In the context of studying the problem, stressors, adaptive potential, ability to self-regulate and self-reflection, level of self-esteem, behavioral regulation, value orientations, mobilization potential, ability to risk are considered as important factors of structural features of the professional viability of managers. Resilience characterizes a person's ability to withstand difficult life situations and successfully confront problems and difficulties, both in personal life and in the professional field. Resilience helps to strike a balance between risk factors and protective factors. Vital stability is considered to be the main functional component that preserves the stability of the personality system.
