Abstract

According to UNESCO, 91% of pupils and students worldwide are in quarantine. This is the first global closure of schools and universities since World War II, for which governments have been unprepared. Despite the fact that distance learning dates back to the end of the 18th century, and digital education has been actively discussed by the scientific community for the last 3 years, the pandemic revealed the unwillingness of educational systems to use digital tools in teaching due to relatively low levels of digital literacy. lack of necessary equipment (smartphone, laptop, etc.) and the Internet.
