Abstract

Historical studies of the pedagogical heritage of Ukrainian education and scientific and educational activities of educational institutions in the late XVIII in Ukraine, in particular the Volyn gymnasium (lyceum) are valuable in designing the educational environment of the modern gymnasium. In the context of globalization and integration processes, the national culture of each of the peoples of Europe must be revived and preserved, and their common development must be ensured on the values ​​of humanity. Further research is needed on the problems of modern teacher training on the best examples of national and world pedagogical heritage and their transformation into the educational process of the New Ukrainian School.
