Abstract

Some psychological aspects of the concept of «New Ukrainian School» in the context of the ideas of humanistic psychology of G.S. Kostiuk are considered. Particular attention is paid to the ideas of child-centeredness and individual approach to students, pedagogy of partnership, child activity, education of universal values and personality of the teacher. The urgency of G.S. Kostiuk's ideas in the process of reforming education in Ukraine is emphasized.
