Abstract

The success of innovative changes in education depends on the teacher, his creative potential, readiness for continuous self-education, the ability to think flexibly, the humanistic orientation of the individual. Improving the professional competence of a teacher plays an important role in this process. In the conditions of transformation of the economic system of Ukraine and the need to accelerate socio-economic development, the problem of ensuring a high level of economic competence of the young generation is acute. Modern economic, political and social changes in society make new demands on students, their ability to coexist harmoniously with society, to know their rights and responsibilities, to choose their own path in life, to be able to make the right decisions in the conditions of choice, to realize their abilities .
