Abstract
The essence of prognostic reading activity at the verbal and semantic level is revealed. The essential characteristics of the dialogic interaction of the younger students with the text at the stages of pre-text and own-text activity are substantiated. The content of reading textbooks for students of 2nd grade is analyzed in terms of implementation of technology of dialogical interaction with text.
