Abstract
Emphasis is placed on the fact that adult education is implemented at the formal, non-formal and informal levels and promotes continuous personal education, taking into account its individual needs and social development priorities. It is stated that it is a supranational branch and has international management structures that promote it and organize international cooperation. The features of adult education in the information society are highlighted.
