Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the influence of mythological consciousness on the construction of political reality and regulation of political life of society. The author emphasizes that political reality is becoming more and more symbolized, which makes it possible to combine ideological and mythological constructs into one system. It is proved that ideology is, on the one hand, a mechanism for translating the results of mental activity, certain theories and concepts into social practice, and on the other - a field of political activity of the subject, its reflection, a certain reflection and rationalization of worldview. Political mythology tends to gravitate more towards emotionally meaningful political orientations for all citizens, built on the foundations of a certain archetypal and ideological concept that underlies the political behavior of individuals and groups, which enhances their irrational character.
