Abstract

The monograph depicts theoretical and practical aspects of the education of certain categories of adult population in the context of the development of the learning society. The theory and practice of non-formal education of top managers of international organizations is covered. The peculiarities of professional training of civil servants and officials of local self-government bodies are characterized. Some aspects of the formation and development of civic competence of future teachers, as well as the psychological and pedagogical competence of parents in the context of non-formal and informal education are outlined. The monograph is intended for teachers and students of institutions of higher education, pedagogical workers and students of institutions of postgraduate education, pedagogical staff of institutions of non-formal education, scientists, graduate students and doctoral students studying the problems of adult education.
