Abstract

The article presents methodological guidelines of forming the variable component of the content of profile technological education, in particular the training programs of courses by choice. The role of the teacher in this process is outlined. Competent, cultural and integration approaches to the development of training programs of integrated courses are substantiated, the criteria for selecting their content are revealed. The main requirement of a competent approach is the practical application by the pupils acquired integrated knowledge, cross-cutting and subject skills, ways of project and technological activity in new situations, solving the real life problems by created products. The expediency of structuring the content on a cultural basis has been proved, taking into account the factors of successful implementation of the projects. The cultural approach gives an understanding of the content of modern technological education as a pedagogically adapted model of social experience of humanity in the context of the project and technological culture of production organization. The levels of integration of technological profile training – value semantic, content, operational-activity are determined. The value-semantic level of integration of education implies the filling of the content of technological education with human, national, regional, personal spiritual and value potential. The integrated content of the variable component of the specialized secondary technological education does not consider only some particular subject area, but integrates knowledge, provides the interconnection of the content of different educational branches and subjects for systematic and in-depth mastering of nationally, socially, professionally and personally important topics, which must be problematic. Integration of universal methods of project and technological activity organizes training, provides successful implementation of integrated content, formation of cross-cutting skills and key competences. The process of designing the integrated course training program within the content of the variable component of the profile technological education on the example of the author's training program "Designing products in ethnic style" is outlined, which will help the teacher to develop independently the author's program of the course by choice.
